    The Americas Unit Bundle for North American indigenous people and the Aztec, Inca and Maya civilizations is perfect for middle school social studies classes.     The Americas Interactive PowerPoint Notes (Google Drive version included)

    Interactive PowerPoint Notes are a great way to engage your students in content related to your curriculum. This resource is aligned with The Americas unit in The Teacher's Prep store but can be used independently, as well. It's a great option for classrooms utilizing technology or off-campus remote distance learning.

    When using this interactive PowerPoint, students can click on elements of the slides to reveal important information about a variety of topics related to the study of the ancient Americas. The topics included align exactly with the interactive notebooks.

    There's also a version compatible with Google Slides included! It's not interactive, due to the way Google Slides is designed, but has all the information that your students need to complete the interactive notebooks.

    The Americas Task Cards

    This resource includes 21 task cards related to the study of the early Americas, including the Native American tribes of North America and the Aztec, Inca and Maya.

    Task cards are an effective resource in the classroom. These task cards can be used as part of group trivia games, entrance or exit slips, or as work for centers. The possibilities are truly endless!

    The Americas Task Cards are intended as a resource for late-elementary into middle school ages.

    Engage your students in learning about the ancient Aztec Empire when they create a codex-like foldable filled with information about the culture of the Aztecs!

    The resource includes paper pages for printing. There are two foldables: one in black and white for student use and one in color (with all notes included) for teacher use.

    This 35-question test on the ancient Americas and Mesoamerica is designed for middle school students.
