Description

This is a one-page chart to teach the three types of writing: informative, opinion, and narrative. This chart provides a clear comparison of each type of writing with transitions students to use in their writing. This helpful chart can be used as a teaching tool, an anchor chart, in a notebook, or enlarged to a poster. I make one copy for each student to keep in their writing notebook as a reference when students write independently. This is a great scaffolding tool to transition students to independent writing!
