What educators are saying
Description
This Thanksgiving cornucopia craftivity is a wonderful way to model gratitude in your classroom this November. Students will also practice direction following skills, writing, and fine motor skills as they read, write, color, cut, and paste to create their final cornucopia projects. The final projects are perfect for a November bulletin board!
Three levels of the craftivity are included. This makes it easy to differentiate the activity or find the level of writing support that best fits the needs of your students.
The first option includes blank fruits and veggies. Students can write a single word or short phrase in response to the gratitude prompts provided. Option two provides students with sentence starters and lines to guide their written responses on each fruit and veggie. The final option includes only blank lines on each fruit and veggie. Students will create their own sentences in response to the prompts.
To prepare to use this resource, print a copy of the directions for each of your students or display on a projector for all to see. Then, print the fruit and veggie slides desired. Provide pencils, scissors, glue, crayons, and large construction paper. You may also wish to create a sample project for student reference or print one of the photos provided in the product preview.
