Thanksgiving Spanish Stories el día de la acción de gracias reading activities
- Google Drive™ folder
Description
This product includes two silly stories in Spanish related to Thanksgiving. They are great filler activities for the day before break, the first day back, or to include in an FVR library. The first story should be acceptable in any classroom and the second one is a little more political, but hopefully funny!
They are editable, written entirely in the present tense and include reading comprehension questions.
Story 1: Panchita el pavo has a brilliant idea to protect her family during Thanksgiving season by painting them to look like pavos reales! This story comes with reading comprehension questions in English and Spanish.
Story 2: Mamá turkey is a savvy business woman who creates a new product called Tofurkie so people will stop eating turkey. The only problem is that it doesn't taste like real turkey, so she buys ad space to promote her product and the president re-tweets her post, helping to save millions of turkeys! Reading comprehension questions are in Spanish plus a creative activity for students to write their own tweet or hashtags.
