This was so much to do with my students. They had a great time with this. The only thing that I changed was a store bought pie crust. The filling was the same. That way you are not changing to many variables.

Description
This is a perfect activity for the fall or Thanksgiving!
Students will be learning about the scientific process in a fun and engaging way. Your class will be experimenting to see if people can taste the difference between a store-bought pumpkin pie and a home-made pumpkin pie. As they go through each step in the process they will fill in their information in a cute booklet.
The set includes scientific process posters, research page for students to read about pumpkin pie and take a class survey, taste test recording sheet and a booklet for recording each step in the process.
