These Thanksgiving themed math centers fit perfectly into photo storage boxes for wonderful grab and go centers. There are 9 centers that work on a variety of math skills so that you can pick and choose to differentiate to meet the needs of your students. These centers are hands on and interactive.

What is included:

Turkey Feather Count and Clip: Count the feathers (up to 20) on the turkeys and clip the correct answer. Clip cards are great for developing fine motor skills.

Counting Peas Ten Frames: Count the peas and correctly fill in a ten frame with numbers up to 10.

Pumpkin Pie Puzzles: Match the pumpkin pie with the correct number of whipped cream swirls to the number and number word.

Turkey Tens: Use the ten frames and mini erasers to help solve for the missing addend.

Turkey Place Value: Count the base ten blocks and match with the correct number. This set has random numbers up to 60.

Thanksgiving Addition: Use the ten frames to solve the addition problems with sums up to 10.

Counting Corn Count and Clip: Count the corn cobs and use the clip cards to clip the correct answer. But this has a twist, the numbers are written in tally marks, so this is a great way to practice tally marks up to 10.

Dinner Roll Subtraction: Use dry erase markers to cross off the number of dinner rolls that were eaten. Then solve for the difference. This center works on subtracting from 10.

Whipped Cream Counting: Count the whipped cream swirls on the pie. Then write the correct number. This center allows students to practice counting and writing numbers up to 10.

Understand the relationship between numbers and quantities; connect counting to cardinality.
When counting objects, say the number names in the standard order, pairing each object with one and only one number name and each number name with one and only one object.
Understand that the last number name said tells the number of objects counted. The number of objects is the same regardless of their arrangement or the order in which they were counted.
Understand that each successive number name refers to a quantity that is one larger.
