Thanksgiving Elementary PE 40 Minute Full Lesson (Interactive Game/Turkey Hunt)

This is a great lesson from start to finish to help your students to get in the mood for Thanksgiving. There are two main activities in this lesson. The first is an "Interactive Thanksgiving Game" where students will have to follow along with the Thanksgiving themed activities that pop-up on the screen and do the activities such as raking leaves, football throw, mashed potato dance, moving like a Turkey and much more. The second activity is one of our favorites called "Turkey Hunt." Two playing cards will appear, one card will have an exercise hiding behind it while the other has the Turkey. Students will choose where they believe the Turkey is hiding and if they guess right they will do the Turkey Dance for 10 seconds, if they guess the exercise they do the exercise for 30 seconds (timers included on each slide).
