What educators are saying

MY students loved creating the plan for the meals and then figuring out how much it would cost per guest! Very engaging!
My students found this surprisingly challenging! I thought they would be more independent with it but I had to walk them through it. It was a good project.

Description

You're cooking Thanksgiving Dinner for your family, but since you can't cook, you're making "Gross"Giving using the sale papers to price out what you will need. Students can solve using unit rates, ratios, or proportions. It took my students almost the entire 90 minute block and I included an extension for the ones who still had a few minutes leftover. Make learning fun with this autumn themed activity - it will certainly hold their attention! Answer key is included!
