Are you looking for a colorful festive bulletin board display for November, that includes writing? This thankful turkey integrates writing with a fun and engaging craft. Thanksgiving is a time when we share what we are thankful for. Use this engaging writing craft for students to share what they are thankful for.
This Thankful Turkey resource includes directions and all of the pattern pieces your students will need to create a boy or a girl turkey. All you will need to do is copy it onto construction paper and give your students a few easy-to-follow directions. It is that simple.
Students will use one of the writing papers included, to write about what they are most thankful for. After students create their thankful turkey, students can add their personal thankful writing to the fun Turkey they have created. These look great in a window or on the office bulletin board.
