Textual Evidence Binder- Tracking Student Progress of Citing Evidence from Text

This Textual Evidence Binder is part of my MEGA Textual Evidence Kit “A Poof of Proof,” which is a Text Evidence Pack that gives teachers fun tools to teach textual evidence, finding proof in any text, answering text-dependent questions with an evidence-based responses, and supporting claims with evidence from the text.

The Textual Evidence Binder serves as a progress monitoring tool to track your students' growth in their ability to use textual evidence in their written responses to text dependent questions.

Directions: After a grading a written response, I would rate my students on a level 0-2 in terms of quality. Since each teacher and district varies in rubrics and requirements, their is no explanation of what a quality 1 response may look like, that's up to you as the teacher to decide or use your district guidelines. Each level is color coded so that you can easily track the level of quality your students are providing. You can see this in action by watching the preview.
