About this product
This resource is a tool that you can use to help your students identify the different structures of informational text. I used this chart in my 4th grade classroom while preparing my students for state Common Core testing. This chart goes perfect with Text Structure Task Cards, as part of a literacy center, small group, or simply as a tool when reading informational text.

Students might also notice that these signal words are what they might think of as Transition Words-words we use to organize our writing and connect ideas.
