Reading, Writing, and Social Studies are all integrated into this product. There are two informational social studies articles, one about George Washington and the other about Abraham Lincoln. There are annotating worksheets with each article, so students can analyze the passages. There is also a Venn Diagram where students can compare and contrast the two presidents they learned about in the two passages. There is also an assessment with PARCC like questions for each passage. KEY INCLUDED FOR ASSESSMENT! There is a writing prompt where students will compare and contrast the two presidents. There are also three writing prompts- one narrative, one opinion, and one informative. There is also a sheet of lined paper with a border. Lastly, there are two writing worksheets included- one that looks like George Washington and one that looks like Abraham Lincoln. All you have to do is print the sheets out for your students to write their final drafts in the presidents' hats. Students can decide to write in George Washington's hat or Abraham Lincoln's hat. Writing checklists and rubrics INCLUDED for the three writing prompts!
