I included activities to use during:
•Small Group Time – students get guided practice at the teacher table during math rotations
•Whole Group – I included activities that are perfect for whole group review during or at the end of your telling time unit!
These activities also make great math centers! I love re-using activities we have already done together at teacher table because students are able to complete them independently!
Activities Included:

- Label a Clock
- Telling Time Math Mat
- Hour Rooms Math Mat
- What’s the Hour? Cards
- Time Cards

Math Mats are my favorite for no-prep activities. These activities are perfect for centers or small group work. They are designed to be hands-on and interactive, allowing students to apply the concepts they have learned in a fun and engaging way.
To use: just slide them into dry erase pockets and add manipulatives for hands-on practice!
TIP: Re-use the activities later as a math center! Students already know how to do the activity and it makes math centers easier to plan!
Printable Telling Time Anchor Charts and Vocabulary Posters
These posters are perfect for classroom display and serve as a visual reminder of the key concepts covered in the unit. They include colorful graphics and clear explanations of telling time concepts. Create a math reference wall to add to throughout your telling time unit.
I also love using the included mini posters to make vocabulary rings for students to access during small group and math centers.
And I give each of my students the individual Telling Time Vocabulary Sheet to keep in their math folders for easy reference!
