Description

Kids LOVE and NEED to move! Scoot is the perfect game to provide opportunities to review/practice a skill and keep your students MOVING! This bundle can be used to practice telling time, or it can be used as a quick assessment. It includes 10 different Scoot activities!

All printable included are in black and white. You can simply print the sheets, tape them around the room, and you are ready to SCOOT! If you would like to use them from year to year, a great idea is to print on various colors of cardstock and laminate!

Here’s what’s included…
-Time to the hour {Students read the listed time and draw the hands.}
-Time to the hour {Students read the clock and write the time.}
-Time to the half hour {Students read the listed time and draw the hands.}
-Time to the half hour {Students read the clock and write the time.}
-Time to the quarter hour {Students read the time (quarter-to, quarter-past, etc.) and draw the hands.
-Time to the quarter hour {Students read the listed time (12:45, 1:15, etc.) and draw the hands.}
-Time to the quarter hour {Students read the clock and write the time.}
-Time to 5 minutes {Students read the listed time and draw the hands.}
-Time to 5 minutes {Students read the clock and write the time.}
-Time questions & Elapsed Time {Students read and answer various time questions.}

Scoot info…
I have always called this game Telling Time Around the Room… but you probably know it as Scoot! And… there are many ways that you can play the game!
1. Tape the cards around the room! Start students at various letters and let them SCOOT until they have completed all cards.
2. In my classroom, I usually print the cards on different colored paper. Then, the activity is perfect to gear-up a lesson! For example, one group of students might be telling time to the half hour (blue paper) while other students are telling time to the quarter hour (red paper).
3. Another way to use this game is to print two sheets per page. This will make the cards half the size! You can then have students use the cards at their seats. {SCOOT around your desk!!}

I hope your kiddos enjoy these activities as much as mine do! And… for those days that your kids are SUPER loud and you have a headache… {EVERYONE has those days!!} SILENT SCOOT is the Way to go!!!!

Enjoy!!!
