Description

Trying to teach your students to deeply understand that teen numbers are comprised of a group of ten and some more can be tricky, but it doesn't have to be! These place value teen number crafts allows students a visual representation of the quantity and the numeral together on each page. Students will enjoy coloring, cutting, and gluing their teen number people together and learning that each teen number has a group of ten in it. Have each child pick a number and be sure each number is represented for an adorable display in your classroom that focuses on number identification, base ten blocks, ten frames, number sentences, and hand representations of each teen number.

This resource includes:

  • numbers 11-19 with dots
