Description
1st to 4th graders will learn about color theory and landscape features in this Ted Harrison 3 lesson art unit. There are 2 low prep project ideas with instructions in the teacher's guide.
This 3 Lesson Activity book includes:
- 2 levels of activity books (Differentiated by writing abilities: word tracing or not)
- Project instructions
- A4 printables for individual pages
- Activity book formatted pages for a polished look (I print double sided on A3 paper for the A4 size activity book. This works as a smaller book printed on A4 double sided as well.) I recommend stapling the center of the book so it stays together nicely
- Colorful flashcards
- Fun on theme puzzles in the back of the activity book for early finishers

- Examine Ted Harrison's work and discuss it as a class

- Materials needed: activity books, pencils and erasers, flashcards, liquid glue, table cover, A4 black construction paper or A4 watercolor paper
Lesson 3
- Review previous week
- Demo instructions for project final steps
- Add color to project using color theory skills learned in lesson 1
- Materials needed: projects from week 2, activity books, pencils and erasers, chalk pastels or watercolors-->(paintbrushes, water bucket, paper towels, water cups)
