Team Building Activity - Synergy - Mission To Mars Activity

Dr. Sigma's Synergy Activities are exercises that promote team-building, cooperation and consensus building. Synergy - Mission To Mars Activity is an exercise that involves determining, as a group, which candidates will be selected for the first colonization mission to Mars. There are twenty-four potential candidates and the mission is limited to 15 members. The groups must evaluate information about the candidates and their occupations to prioritize which candidates should be selected for the mission.

There are a number of different ways that this activity can be implemented in the classroom -- from a whole class activity, to a group activity to an individual or partner web quest.

This activity can be used for students in late elementary, middle school, high school and adult learning programs. .
