During the 2024-2025 school year, I will be teaching some Intervention classes for struggling freshmen (in addition to teaching English.) Excited about this new opportuity to work with kids in a different way, I had to create some units (even though I still have three weeks left of this school year.)

How can you use these items:

I am going to use them throughout the year. For example, I will give my kids one positive "word of the week", we will practice how to communicate once a week, etc. I anticipate we will have a diffefrent activity for each day of the week to start off class. When I finish one, I will introduce another. As educators, we know repetition and practice will lead to mastery, so I will continue working on these concepts throughout the year.

Any way you want to use and incorporate these items into your classroom will be great! You have multiple resources here to faciliate strong discussions and assist students learn these important life skills.
