Description

Foreshadowing Instruction and Practice for Middle School or High School

This resource includes a foreshadowing instruction sheet and explains that foreshadowing builds suspense! Then students must identify which event is being foreshadowed in several examples. In an additional practice sheet, students must read a passage and highlight the example of foreshadowing in it. Both assignments include answer keys. Great reinforcement activity for any text!

This works as a great work from home activity. The assignment gives instruction on foreshadowing. Then students practice with a short matching. Finally, students practice on a worksheet. Independent learning can happen from home while you post this on your blog for students to learn foreshadowing.
