My students loved being able to “grade” me and to have a space to share the things they enjoy but also the things they don’t like that they otherwise would have kept to themselves. Bonus points for all of the sweet responses from my students saying I was their favorite part of the classroom!!
Description
I give this out to my students at report card time, and they love getting to grade ME!
This simple form has helped me to learn so much about my students: who's being teased or bullied, what worries them, classroom activities they love and hate, and ideas they have for how to make our classroom a happier and more engaging place to learn.
It also gives me a chance to self-reflect on how students perceive me, and how my actions and words affect their feelings about school. It's an eye-opener!
