Teacher friend, I know you are used to writing out your lessons in a super cute planner that you found at Target or ordered online... I get it! I have been ordering Erin Condren planners every year since I started teaching. Don't get me wrong, I love these planners and I definitely consider myself someone who likes to write things out instead of type them online, but trust me when I say that making the switch to an online planner has been so worth it!
There are many reasons that I prefer having my lessons online versus a planner book:
1. I can access them anywhere, anytime.
I don't have to worry about forgetting my planner or having it right next to me to know what my lesson plans are.
2. I never have to have anxiety about losing my lessons! Since this is on google docs, I can feel secure and relaxed knowing that my lessons aren't going anywhere.
3. I can link worksheets, videos, powerpoints and MORE straight into my planner. This has been a life saver for me! It makes it so easy to organize everything that I need for the day.
4. I can add/delete anything that I want. I enjoy having this layout because I can make it mine. If I need another row because I have multiple preps, done. If I want to add an extra column for due dates or extra-curricular activities, done. It is so easy to use and so fun to personalize it however you want!
