Creative Writing 1 - ‘If I were a fox fairy, I'd change into . . . because . . .’

This set of worksheets goes along with Grandfather Tang’s Story. The set contains a lesson plan, cut and paste worksheets, puzzle pieces and 4 pages with 40 different tangram animals (silhouette & solution).

Objective:

- Students will be able to compose their own 2-dimentional tangram animal using all 7 tans.

- Students can describe their animals best quality / feature and how it spends the day.

Activity description:

The students will try to create their own tangram animal and write about the new character for the story that could be added into the book.

Suggestion:

If students find it hard to create their own tangram animal, you might consider using the provided pages with 40 different tangram animals to help them out. First students select an animal, then they write about its features/qualities and how it spends the day.
