Description

Want a new format for documenting historical figures in your elementary or middle school classes? In this creative writing format, students will create trading cards that explain the main idea for each historical influencer. Originally intended for studying the explorers in the "Age of Exploration," this project can be used alongside other topics such as: inventors, founding fathers, presidents, revolutionary war figures, civil war leaders, economists, literary figures, composers, mathematicians, or any other unit of study!

I find that this is a great way for students to create biographical summaries. Enjoy creating and learning with this trading card project!

What's Included:

  • Trading Card template front
  • Trading Card summary back
  • Print and then copy the two sheets so they are double sided for the cards to align perfectly
  • Multiple templates for various units of study
  • See preview for more detailed information
  • Use for inventors, founding fathers, presidents, revolutionary war figures, civil war leaders, economists, literary figures, composers, mathematicians, or any other unit of study!
