The only one I've used so far is "5 Ways to Be a Better Listener." It was perfect for an early release day before a break! The questions are clear and the formatting is eye catching.
GREAT addition to my communications class! I felt like the newspaper wasn't keeping students busy enough for an entire week and this helped keep them engaged and not bored in class.

Description

This TED Talk Unit (6 TED Talk lessons) is appropriate for a high school English or Life Skills course. This unit can be used to supplement a prepared unit or be used as a stand-alone unit on the topic of communication. TED Units also work well with Independent Study students or for students who need meaningful "make-up" work or extra credit. I often use TED Units as part of my summer school credit recovery program.

TED Units and lessons are perfect for sub days (TED Talk Videos can easily be found online.) Simply print the TED lesson worksheets and complete them in class or assign them as homework.)

Six TED Talk lessons included in this bundle focus on the topic of COMMUNICATION (Listening, Writing, and Speaking).
