CLICK HERE for the bundle that includes these holiday cards along with dozens of other designs for occasions, including Back-to-School, Thanksgiving, Valentine's Day, Congratulations, End of the Year, and more!

Included in this resource:

  • 14 sympathy cards for your students when they are going through a hard time. Cards for grief, loss, health issues, etc. are included. (Now includes a two card per page version and a four card per page version.)
  • 40+ suggested phrases for you as inspiration for what to write to your students, even in the most challenging situations.

Why I created this:

Our students face really hard situations during the school year, and I always wanted to express sympathy and compassion but didn't always having the time to run by the store to get a card. These ready-to-print cards are there for you when you need them--easy to print and cut out, with included phrases to write inside. Students need to know we care, and these cards can help you express that!

Cards included can be used for:

  • Grief
  • Loss of a family member, including pets
  • Health issues
  • Emotional distress
  • Stress
  • Trauma
  • Painful, frustrating, or difficult circumstances that are hard for students to process.

I believe in the value of education. But for kids, the value of a teacher who cares and notices them is more important than any academic truth they will ever learn.

To use this resource:

  1. Print the pages for the cards that you want to give to your student.
  2. Cut along the middle, dotted line (between the two messages on each page).
  3. Fold along the solid black line. This should give you a card with plenty of room to write a short and sweet personal message to your students.
