What educators are saying

I used this activity to reinforce this aspect of our social studies curriculum. It was a great visual for my students and important information to understand our country. Thank you
I liked the graphics and the chance for my Kinders who are not very confident with writing to trace.

Description

Symbols of America is a patriotic little lesson designed to introduce little ones to the symbols of our country. It includes seven different symbols: the United States Flag, the Liberty Bell, the Bald Eagle, the Statue of Liberty, the White House, Uncle Sam and the Washington Monument. For each symbol there are two pages. One page has a short description of the symbol. The description is in a font designed for tracing. Students can trace the written description while they read about the symbol. At the bottom of the page, there is a space for the students to draw a picture of the symbol. On the second page, there is a blackline drawing of the symbol for the students to color. I hope Symbols of America finds a place in your American history curriculum or patriotic unit. Thank you so much for purchasing Symbols of America. Richi Reynolds 2012
