Description

This lesson helps middle and high school students explore the importance of moving towards a more sustainable food supply. The concept of sustainability is introduced, and students explore ways to reduce their food footprint/carbon footprint. Students will learn the definition of sustainability and track food items from farm to table to see the various processing and transport steps involved in this process! The lesson includes various hands-on activities to keep students actively engaged.
