Description
Short guided notes in Cornell notes form (modified for math) on identifying and understanding the intercept and slope of a linear equation. In addition to the notes is a worksheet that walks students step-by-step through a series of calculations to figure out how long it would take carrion eaters to devour 10,000,000 zombies should the zombie apocalypse occur.
This is the one lesson where I do not hear "When am I ever going to use this?!" because all teenagers know that the zombie apocalypse is almost upon us.
