Looking for an engaging, no-prep activity to practice finding surface area? Students will find the amount of wrapping paper needed to wrap 5 different gifts with no overlap with this fun digital and print activity!

There are 3 different levels of this activity included:

  • Level 1: rectangular prisms
  • Level 2: rectangular and triangular prisms
  • Level 3: rectangular prisms, triangular prisms, and cylinders

Please note that the directions instruct students to use 3.14 for pi for the cylinder. Please view the preview file to see make sure that this activity is appropriate for your students.
