We've all heard of the "summer slide" and this can apply to social and emotional skills too. This journal keeps students engaged in thinking about and learning about important social and emotional skills throughout their summer break! This journal is designed for grades K-2. (best for end of the year K, rather than upcoming K).
The journal is broken up into 8 topics, each one containing a week of pages. The topics included are:

Week 2: My Emotions
Week 3: Coping Skills
Week 4: Growth Mindset
Week 5: Friendship
Week 6: Empathy & Respect
Week 7: Decision Making
Week 8: Problem Solving
Each week contains 5 journal pages (for Monday-Friday of each week) plus an overview of the skill/topic to start each week.
The resource also includes a journal cover and a certificate of completion.
