Summer Free: "I Saw It At the Beach" Adapted Book

This summer free activity, the "I Saw it at the Beach," Adapted Song Book teaches beach themed vocabulary words through a song and hands-on interaction. It is sung to the familiar tune, "The Farmer and the Dell."

In this activity, students match pictures and sing along as the teacher or therapist sings the song and moves through the pages. After the song is complete, students complete a sorting activity that focuses on classifying beach objects by type.

Sample Verse:

"I saw it at the beach.
I saw it at the beach.
A sunny day--
A crab at play!
I saw it at the beach....."
