What educators are saying

I can't believe how much was included in this resource! Many great ideas and suggestions for putting together a fun show. I especially appreciated how the script is already separated into easy-to-assign parts, and suggested changes to fit different situations are included as well.

Description

This Summer Camp themed performance package can be used by an elementary classroom teacher, a music teacher, a summer camp coordinator, a vacation bible school, or a drama program instructor.

In this funny show the campers start off not liking summer camp and begging to go home! However, as the days go by they slowly change their tune and by the end they don’t want to go home at all!

This show could be performed by anywhere from 25 to 100+ students depending on stage size.

The length of the performance is approximately 40 minutes. I use a combination of pre-recorded video (you make of your own students) and live performance. However, the “8 videos” could easily be performed live!

This show was originally performed by 60 students in my drama program (K through 5th). I divided them into 3 class groups of 20 students. However this show could easily be performed by less or more students depending on your class/classes and your stage.

Some grouping options are:

One class (20-25 students) split into 3 cast groups

Three classes - each taking a cast group

Six classes with two classes in each cast group

This product contains the entire script, skits, song and dance music recommendations and links, full color printable participation certificate, various tools for organization and posting, ideas for costumes, show management, props and stage décor!!!
