Summer Camp Skit Script and Improv Activity | Reader's Theater | Drama Club
- PDF
Description
This Script is perfect for a theater or drama summer camp! It combines a traditional script reading experience, but the story ends with an improv activity.
This original story is seven pages, light, and humorous. It surrounds campers who are competing to win a talent show for a grand prize of a $500 dollar shopping spree! The script goes on to share what each student would do with the prize money as well as what their act in the talent show will be. Here's the kicker - it ends with optional improv! You students will be tasked to improv the talent show and voting on which character should win! My students had an absolute blast and I hope yours do too.
There are 15 speaking parts.
It's perfect for a traditional summer camp, a drama camp, theater camp, end of the year reader's theater, or it could be worked into a class or camp play.
Various ages would enjoy this activity and it would be great for mixed aged groups too. This was written however for upper elementary school to middle schoolers in mind.
