Sum and Possum Practice Worksheet: Perfect Active Indicative System

My students use this packet to practice the forms and functions of sum and possum in the perfect, pluperfect, and future perfect active indicative. It requires them to first recall the appropriate endings, then provide the full forms of each verb before finally practicing sentence translation and parsing. There are three forms of a single sentence provided for practicing each verb, for a total of six sentences. Each sentence differs from the other two that feature the same verb only in the tense of the verb so that students can focus on how the verbs are translated in each tense without looking up additional vocabulary or becoming confused by the unique syntax of multiple sentences.
