Sudan: Explore the World QuickGuide
Description
As a student, I learned very little about the continent of Africa, and what I did learn centered on oppression, poverty, and trauma. This series of QuickGuides aims to broaden and deepen an understanding of individual countries on the African continent, and, while the Guides include historical details, they aim to also celebrate the diversity, accomplishments, and artifacts of Africa’s citizens.
Humanities at Home curates resources available online and in your local library. These guides supplement K-12 curriculum, particularly in homeschool settings. The links are not owned by Humanities at Home. Instead, the product is designed to save time for busy teachers and parents by doing the research for them. Most resources, unless noted with a “Content Warning,” are suitable for K-12 students.
Humanities at Home believes in honest conversations with children and in learning about the world through cultural artifacts such as stories, music, art, and fashion.
