Description
I use this product in all of my classes (6th-12th grades)! I give them the sub bingo sheet at the beginning of the semester to put their name on and then collect them back and put them in a sub folder. I go over it with them so they know how to do it, as well as covering my sub expectations. Then, if I ever have to be absent (especially if I wake up sick and it wasn't a planned absence) this is typically what I have my students do. It is so much easier than waking up sick and making sub plans last minute. I just have my sub folder on my desk clearly where the sub and my students know where it is at and then they have the entire day to work on one of the boxes. Throughout the semester, the students work towards getting a "bingo" by choosing boxes next to previous ones they have completed. If I know I am going to be gone, sometimes I will assign other assignments related to the unit we are on so we can continue moving along, but my students will BEG to do the sub bingo instead. They LOVE it!
I have two sub bingo options (one requires use of technology and the other doesn't). I did this because our high school is a 1:1, but the middle school where I also teach part time is not. Choose whichever option works best for you! :) --- This product is the sub bingo without use of technology.
