What educators are saying

This resource was perfect for helping my students understand the importance of subject/verb agreement. I loved the troll type characters and how everything was laid out. This is a wonderful and student friendly resource.
This was very helpful in teaching the subject-verb agreement standards and my students were very engaged.

    Description

This bundle has everything you need to keep your students engaged as they learn the various rules related to subject-verb agreement. The activities in this bundle make learning subject verb agreement rules fun and easy! Students love the activities while teachers love the convenience of these no-prep resources that can be used year after year! These grammar activities can be used for test prep, review, or introduction of the skill.

This bundle contains 11 resources for teaching students about subject-verb agreement. When buyers download this file, they will find an explanation note for teachers and TWO folders: the "basic" folder and the "advanced" folder. The colorful, whimsical "trolls on patrol" theme is extended throughout all of the materials. In my opinion, they make the subject-verb agreement concepts just a little more fun and engaging!

Teachers who are introducing the concept of subject-verb agreement to students for the first time will probably use the resources within the "basic" folder. These materials introduce the three most basic rules to students, including:

how subjects and verbs must agree in number.

how to work with verbs that are contractions.

how to correctly identify the subject of the sentence.

If you believe your students are ready to tackle the more technical aspects of subject-verb agreement, you will probably use the resources within the "advanced" folder. These materials focus on eight additional subject-verb agreement rules, including:

    indefinite pronoun subjects

    collective nouns

    noncount nouns

    sentences that begin with here/there

    portion words

units of time, distance, or money
