Student Self Assessment | Growth Mindset Self Reflection Activity for Conference
What educators are saying
Description
Say "goodbye" to smiles and frowns, thumbs up and thumbs down... this self reflection is not only developmentally appropriate for young learners, but it also promotes a growth mindset!
Students are encouraged to choose 2-3 skills they are "already an expert at", and then narrow down to 2-3 skills that they want to "practice and get even better at".
This style of self reflection guides students to think progressively about their strengths and reflect on their areas of growth with a hopeful, effort based lens.
When I did this with my students, they were incredibly perceptive, thoughtful and intentional!
Includes 2 printable cut and paste self reflections -
