What educators are saying
I love this so much! I needed a way to get my students to the carpet without all the craziness. This is a great resource and gave me a tool to help with the transition.
Such a cute poem to get kids transitioned from one activity to the next. They were very engaged. Now they say the poem without any help.
Description
I originally came across this wonderful chant at

I was browsing through different librarian wiki’s when I first got hired. I wanted to get some ideas on library management with the little ones who seemed so wiggly!
I thought this would be perfect for my Pre-K and Kinder students, but ended up doing it even with my wiggly first graders. They absolutely LOVED it, and I would even hear them practicing it while they waited for me to join them on the carpet.
I printed the poster in color and took it to Office Max to make a larger, colored poster.
*Updated to include another version that says "Circle Time" instead of "Story time".
I hope you find this useful!
