Description

This presentation delves into the historical context of the feminist movement surrounding Chopin's pivotal work, the basics of literary criticism, tips on practicing feminist criticism, the Bechdel test, Socratic Seminar questions, and 4 writing prompts to practice feminist criticism and literary analysis. It also provides a slide to teach the 3 types of irony. This lesson is comprehensive and, with some expansion, could be taught over the course of a full week, or let stand as is and take 2-3 days to teach it depending upon student pace.
