Story Telling Project Bundle

This bundle includes a powerpoint that focuses on developing a story. It prompts students to think about plot, theme, characters, settings, etc. Then students consider the principles of design and how to use them as a guide to illustrate their story. When making the book for this project, I would typically use cardstock, but you can use cereal boxes and even printer paper. Students can look at comics or regular books, even children's books as inspiration. Also included in this bundle is 2 videos showing how to make an accordion book out of cereal boxes. I made these videos for elementary students so they may be a bit cheesy for Jr high or high school, unless students are looking for a good laugh.

Also included is a comic research and exploration principles of design organizer to help students build their visual ideas and brainstorm. It's a word doc so it can be edited to your needs.
