What educators are saying

Having the picture choices have been great for my struggling readers- takes the decoding aspect out of it and helps them really show what they know in their responses.
This was a good resource to use with the younger students at a parochial school. Most of my resources are for older students (at a public school). I got a lot of use out of this.

Description

This packet includes 16 stories. Each story contains 3 questions involving main idea, sequencing, inferences, and/or predicting. The student "CHECKS" off (draws a check mark) the correct answer (To avoid potential confusion: the worksheets are not "self-checking"). Each question has 3 picture choices. These stories can be read by a child or by the adult instructing.

These were designed to be print and go/no prep! You just need to print and have a writing utensil.

***TpT Digital Activity*** This product now has the option to be used as a Digital Activity through Teachers Pay Teachers. This allows you to draw check marks over the document as questions are answered, using your computer. It can be assigned to students using Google Classroom.
