Sort the words into alphabetical order. Putting words in alphabetical order (to the second letter) is a skill usually learned in first grade.
Hide the cards around your classroom. Students can find the cards and practice writing each word.
Practice writing (or saying) each word in a sentence.
Print two sets of cards and turn them into a word matching game. The picture is still there for reading support too!
