Description

Here are spelling boxes to use with students during March! I use this with CVC words, or digraphs (1 syllable). Students use a strategy to segment the word you give, and write one sound in each box. I personally printed this on green paper, and inserted it into a communicator so students can use their dry erase marker to write on. Reusable, and easy!

Students can practice isolating and pronouncing the initial, medial vowel, and final sounds (phonemes) in three-phoneme (consonant-vowel-consonant, or CVC) words.
