Activity Suggestions:
Distribute one green and yellow scarf to each student. Use ribbons or streamers of there are no scarves available.
mm1-4: Hands on hips, scarves hanging at sides, heels out to touch the floor in front, alternate left and right
mm 5-6: March in place, wave both scarves in front of body
mm7-8: Continue marching in place, wave scarves overhead, down on “sight”
mm9-12: Wave green scarf in front of body, heels out to touch the floor in front, alternate left and right
mm13-16: Wave yellow scarf in front of body, heels out to touch the floor in front, alternate left and right
mm17-18: Wave green scarf in front of body, heels out to touch the floor in front, alternate left and right
mm19-20: Wave yellow scarf in front of body, heels out to touch the floor in front, alternate left and right
mm21-22: March in place, wave both scarves in front of body
mm23-24: Continue marching, wave scarves overhead, down on “day”
