St. Patrick's Day: Major Festivals of the World

The Festival Series is a great resource to learn about countries and their cultural traditions and customs.

There are three pages:

Page 1 - The colorful picture prompts will help your student identify elements of the festival.

Page 2 - The word prompts will help with researching where the festival is celebrated, what the traditions are associated with it etc.

Page 3 - A summarizing/reflection graphic organizer in the shape of a postcard to capture comprehension and critical thinking as well as reflection.

The activity book will encourage writing and communication skills as well as research.

This is a great mini resource for ESL, writing skills, social studies teachers,

and homeschoolers.
