These Entrance/ Exit Slips can be used in many different ways in your classroom beyond the basics.

  • Give out entrance slips the day before a topic is introduced to be completed as homework (with or without using resources such as textbook/ internet), upon entering class as a quick homework check to see who completed an assigned reading selection or at the beginning of class to check for prior knowledge before starting a new topic.
  • Exit slips can be given out near the end of class and taken back up as the students exit as a way to wrap up the topic or given out as a homework assignment to be taken up the next day. A good Exit Question is “What does this new knowledge mean for you?”

Instructions and suggestions are included in this product.
