What educators are saying
My students loved it. I used it as a formal assessment, but they did not noticed because it was not in the traditional test format. I also displayed them during Open House and in our multi purpose room.
Description
Celebrate spring with fraction flowers! Students create fraction flowers by displaying the fraction in various ways upon the petals of the flower. Students are required to display the fraction on a number line, as a fraction of a set, in words, and in the form of a picture. Completely aligned with the common core! Can work as a center, small group, or whole class. Great option for a bulletin board and to incorporate art with math.
Over 18 different flower fractions included, making it easy to differentiate for students who may struggle, as well as a blank flower for further differentiation.
