What educators are saying

Lots of great activities that can easily be adapted to be used in different ways. Fun, visually pleasing and most importantly, engaging!
This was great! It had so many different areas of learning that I could plan activities across subjects with this one resource. Will use again and again, especially with the snack component. Thank you!

Description

Get students engaged in learning with these cereal loop themed centers! These are perfect to add to your March/St. Patrick's Day/Rainbow activities. Students will work on counting, handwriting, letter recognition, rhyming, shapes, syllables, and fine motor skills. Perfect for small groups, independent work, or fast finishers in your preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, or special education classroom.

7 Different Activities Included:

Count, Find, & Trace - Option 1: Sensory Bin: Place cards in a sensory bin. Have students choose a card, count the cereal, and trace that number on the recording sheet.

Option 2: Write the Room. Hang cards up around the classroom. Give students the recording sheet on a clipboard.

Choose from 1-12 or 1-20. Color and black and white recording sheets included.

Build a Letter - Provide students with letter cards (capital and lower case included) and a manipulative to build letters with: cereal loops, pom-poms, buttons, etc.

Two optional recording sheets are also included. Students can build the number, find it, and stamp it in the cereal bowl.

Rhyming Word SMASH - Students choose a card and find the word that rhymes with it in the cereal bowl. Students then SMASH play-doh balls over the picture to cover it. 12 pairs of rhyming words included. A visual is also provided of all the words that rhyme. (KIDS WILL LOVE THIS)

Which has the least/MOST? - Have students use clothespins to clip the bowl of cereal that has the least/most on each task card. 24 cards total.

10/20 Frame Cards - Students choose a card, identify the number, show the number on a 10/20 frame cereal loops, buttons, pom poms, mini erasers, etc., and then trace the number.

Syllable Sort - Students will sort cards by number of syllables in the word. 24 cards and bowl labels included.
