    Description

Writing can be tedious to teach and frustrating to learn, so the idea of daily writing practice might feel difficult. Luckily, there's a fix to this -- By combining student-friendly print and visuals, sentence stems, and engaging topics like the Spring writing prompts listed below, you can get the most reluctant writers to write confidently.

Prompts are organized to cut down on teacher direction-giving time during the busy literacy block or morning arrival. The electronic nature of the prompts creates a COPY-FREE product for teachers! The magic happens when Students simply respond to prompts daily in their morning journals (spiral notebooks).

    Let's break down the details:

All 60 prompts are available in 2 formats:

    • PowerPoint (editable and non-editable)
    • PDF

Included in this spring writing prompt bundle, you'll receive:

    March Daily Prompts

    • March Madness (5 prompts)
    • St. Patrick's Day (5 prompts)
    • Easter (5 prompts)
    • Weater (5 prompts)

    April Daily Prompts

    • Earth Day (5 prompts)
    • Poetry (5 prompts)
    • April Fool's Day (5 prompts)
    • Spring (5 prompts)

    May/June Daily Prompts

    • U.S. Symbols (5 prompts)
    • End of the Year Reflection #1 (5 prompts)
    • End of the Year Reflection #2 (5 prompts)
    • End of the Year Reflection #3 (5 prompts)
    • End of the Year Reflection #4 (5 prompts)

PLUS: 5 more bonus slides that are Spring-themed (no holidays)

    Daily Prompts follow this schedule:

    • Make It Monday (Varies between: 'Draw a picture & write a sentence about it', 'Draw a picture and label it', or 'Make a list').
    • True Life Tuesday (Write facts about ______)
    • Would You Rather? Wednesday (Would you rather _______ or _______? Why?)
    • Thoughtful Thursday (Questions that make students think deeply: Why do you think..., How do..., How long would it take...etc.)
    • Free Write Friday (Write about anything you want!)

    My #1 Tip for Use:

Each prompt has the option to play classical music to calm your students as they focus and write! Turn on a Youtube spring meadow or Irish landscap and shrink it down to the corner of the screen while the writing prompt slide supplies the tunes. Fresh spring work outside vibes = activated!
